Bovine TB must not be allowed to spread

The North West NFU is urging farmers in Cumbria to stop bovine TB from spreading across the county. The call followed the introduction of an enhanced surveillance zone to the north of Penrith, covering a three kilometre radius around a dairy farm where more than 100 animals had to be slaughtered after some gave positive results when tested for the disease
